Greetings all,
Just a reminder about the next meeting— Monday Jan 16th, 7:00
pm. We challenge each of you to bring your visiting/snowbird
friends from Wisconsin, who are here for a few weeks or months…. or those
folks who are Wisconsites and don’t belong to any of our chapters!
Also, to get your name in the roster you must be paid by Jan 11th. The
roster will be printed right after that to be distributed at the Jan
meeting. Send your $5 each to Marilyn ASAP. Include a SASE
for easy return.

Meeting Minutes September 19, 2011
WISCONSIN CLUB – BADGER CLUB PARADISE CENTER
The meeting was called to order by President Nancy Zimbric with the Pledge of Allegiance followed by a silent prayer for deceased and ill members and for our armend forces. The minutes of the May meeting were read and approved. Treasurer Marilyn Skarda reported the new balance in our treasury is $2894.11 after expenses were paid.
New members were introduced and welcomed to the club. Dick Palm reported on the scholarships. Our new Vice President will be Dick Laudolff. The president thanked Dennis Bierdz for a job well done. A report on the Parade of Colors was made by the president. We all then agreed to renew our storage area at Ft. Knox.
The next meeting will be celebrated with OctoberFest. We will look forward to having the Wisconsin Singers in the spring. Ray Haas reported on the golf outing and gave out the remaining prize money. President Zimbric thanked him for a job well done. Bunny Miller reported on the Relay for Life and had discount coupons for the Bob Evans fund raiser. Sandy Bierdz reported on the pancake breakfast at Havana in February. Gabriel Hayes reported on the Sunshine committee and thanked everyone for the Tummy Money.
Louie Ventura asked about having the OctoberFest at the Polo Field or at Paradise. The plan is to have the Christmas Party at Colony. There will be snacks and a band for dancing. Ilomay Thomas has agreed to be our new photographer. The meeting was closed and 50/50 was drawn. Scott Wilder from Community Watch gave an interesting and informative report.
